Professional: Merry has a B.S. in Education from Georgia Southern University. Through working in a 43-year career in Cru, Merry has mentored hundreds of women through one-to-one and small groups. In 2009 she was certified to be a life coach helping people develop their personal mission. In 2009 she helped create a non-profit ministry to help women in the workplace in their spiritual growth. In 2019 she received her certification to be a CoreClarity coach and facilitator using the CliftonStrengths assessment and launched her coaching business Uniquely You Coaching.

Why I Love What I Do: I love people and get my emotional energy from spending time with them. Starting a coaching business, Uniquely You Coaching, fits in well with all of my top five talents, my life experience, and my passion and purpose for living. I love investing in people to love who they are and help them to be the best that they can be. I want to encourage them to use their gifts and abilities to touch their world for good.

Up Close & Personal: Merry’s name fits her well. If it’s going to be a fun party, count her in. She loves to spend time with friends and her family, and she loves meeting new people. One of her favorite things to do is shop, not just to look for bargains but to meet people! She also loves to travel (Any trip to the beach or to Europe will do just fine). She also loves to read books especially historical novels. She has been married to her husband Dave for 41 years and has two beautiful daughters and two precious grandchildren.
